WELCOME TO Mission Of Light-L E-Mail List and Forum

Ye Seekers of Pure Inner Consciousness.

This new E-mail List/Forum was established October 3, 1997 to discuss and share experiences and information that all participants and non-participants in the discussion group can be enriched by. We are not here to preach at one another or to condemn one another -- we are here to establish a community of Awakened Seekers.

Mission Of Light E-Mail List/Forum is an open community of and for those seeking to experience Awakening and Reality. As we move beyond dogma, beyond focus on any particular creed or way, beyond hierarchy -- we open to the essence of Community -- learning, practicing, seeking, Being. Within this Forum, there is but one rule, "Light !"

IF you are interested, I have sat up an e-mail discussion forum. It is not a moderated list, and it is for serious Seekers who want to discuss the very Work that we are so much involved in -- namely Unfolding Pure Inner Consciousness and a Inner Focus from the Inner Higher Self. So naturally I thought of you as I was scanning my "Page of Links" looking for people who I know would be of great benefit in the establishing of a Great discussion List/Forum. Thus far there are very few subscribers so it is not a very active list at present. Perhaps you might just check it out for a while and see if you can help build it into a superior discussion group. Feel free to tell those you know about the List/Forum as well.

This new E-mail List/Forum was established to discuss and share experiences and information that all participants and non-participants in the discussion group can be enriched by. We are not here to preach at one another or to condemn one another -- we are here to establish a group of Awakened Seekers. Building a support community not for ourselves but rather for Seekers of Inner Consciousness. One way is naturally the Internet e-mail discussion forum. It affords help for those perhaps just embarking upon the Inner Quest and those who have been on that Journey for many seasons yet need further Insights. When we stop Seeking to further Unfold Inner Consciousness, we are either fully enlightened or we are blind. Of course we do not Seek enlightenment, but rather the tools or information needed to Realize it. It is difficult to do that without support communities of other such Seekers.

A Utopian

In a Utopian there's no dogmatic trace -
he sees the Light of God in every face -
In Mosque, Cathedral, and in Synagogue -
wherever man may lift his cry to God.

He joins the Wise Men following a star -
and finds a Christ, a Cross, an Avatar -
In Buddha's shrine he feels a stir within -
and bends the knee when chants the Muezzin.

He seeks to understand what Moses taught -
and honors what the Hindu sages brought -
The mysteriesof the pyramids inspire -
He honors Zoroaster and his fire.

Respects what wise Confucius has to say -
will seek the wisdom found the Tao way -
Wherever hearts and hands are raised in prayer -
In every shrine, a living God is there.

And whatsoe'er the Godward Path may be -
the Utopian will give it dignity.
True brotherhood seeks only to ascend.
All paths that lead to God must somewhere blend.

If you ever need to get in contact with the owner of the list, (if you have trouble unsubscribing, or have questions about the list itself) send email to <owner-missionoflight-l@Light-Mission.org> . This is the general rule for most mailing lists when you need to contact a human.

In the event of an address change, it would probably be the wisest to first send an unsubscribe for the old address (this can be done from the new address), and then a new subscribe to the new address (the order is important).

Most (un)subscription requests are processed automatically without human intervention.

Do not send multiple (un)subscription or info requests in one mail. Only one will be processed per mail.

NOTE: The request server usually does quite a good job in discriminating between (un)subscribe requests and messages intended for the maintainer. If you would like to make sure a human reads your message, make it look like a reply (i.e. the first word in the Subject: field should be "Re:", without the quotes of course); the -request server does not react to replies.

Once you get confirmation that you have been subscribed to the List/Forum, please introduce yourself to the group. Nothing elaborate if you do not wish to, but just to say hello and that you are with us.
