Robots?

The Key is to not only "slow down" the brain/mind chatter but actually STOP it and project nothing into/onto what is Observed. Receive meaning from what is being Observed rather than projecting our own into/onto it. Whatever is Observed or "concentrated" on is in the NOW as long as you do not project anything into/onto it. Perhaps these "thought bits" are actually synapsis firings and not thought-bits at all. Dwelling IN the Silence of no thoughts and projected preconceptions will be fine for a meditation session.

Indeed, the NOW is not so much in meditation sessions but rather in manifesting that meditative state of Silence into everyday life. Sure, the great Yogis and Teachers of the Wisdom do sit in meditative Silence in a meditation session extensively. But if they are to Teach us of such Wisdom they have to get up from the meditation session and be with us. And if they Teach the Truth, then they will bring that meditative state of Silence with them and not part from it when they leave the meditation session. For the meditation secession is not what meditation is about -- it is about establishing the meditative state of Silence and manifesting it into our everyday lives. To Dwell IN the NOW in the session is good but they also Dwell in that Silence in Teaching. This is a state of Focus, a state of BEing, and not merely the silence of speaking. We can speak yet BE in the Silence of mind chatter. We can speak OF what we Observe What-IS in that very instant present Moment -- NOW.

Do not trust the preconceptions and projections, but do Truth your Inner Silence of these. To be critical of our state of BEing is healthy, but not to be critical of our Silence. For to be critical of the Silence is the Trickster's doing -- the Silence is the demise of the Trickster, so it is no wonder that the Trickster will want you to be critical of it. As stated earlier, it is not only the "Emptying" of thought and projections and preconceptions but also of "expectations". For what you Look for will always elude you, what you seek to find will never be found. "As a man thinketh, so is he", so has been said.

First, "bitter" because you realized that your own selfish needs were not going to be satisfied ? Due to, of course, others' selfish needs were not going to be satisfied either ? So all concerned closed the day unsatisfied, unfulfilled, in a bad mood ? You missed your opportunity to both transcend your selfish robot and satisfy not only your family members' needs but also your own. If instead, you came home after a long hard tiring day needing soothing and comfort, finding others of your family in need of soothing and comfort as well, you Realized that you had one more task to complete before you could reap your soothing and comfort, perhaps you could have *saved the day*. Setting your needs aside for a Moment, giving some attention to another would no doubt have revealed what his problem was and what best would remedy it. Then attention to the Mrs would have defused that wall (and I dare say, that she no doubt would have been most appreciative). What accomplishment ! You soothed the home environment, soothed and comforted another, soothed and comforted the Mrs, and most likely got your soothing and comforting as well -- and perhaps closed the day with a smile. Taking charge of the situation and DOing your part in it could have taken 15 minutes -- you did not have the 15 minutes to spare ? Even though the reward would have been incalculable ?

The first step has obviously been taken -- realizing that the robots must go. Not only is it more than possible to get rid of them in your life-time, but possible to get rid of them this very instant present Moment. Besides, we do not "kill" robots, we just put them in their place, show them who is boss, show them that you are going to control and manipulate them instead of them controlling and manipulating you.

There are several meditation techniques at the Light Mission site, and there will be more added as I get the time. They are there so as to give the meditator a variety of experiences, and to find the one that is most comfortable to the given individual. But actually, the practice and the technique is not important -- what is important is to establish the state of *no-thought* and manifesting it in every aspect of our BEing and life. This is the *presence* of Awareness -- that is what it is all about. The practice, the technique is merely a guide or crutch until we establish the focus of Silence. Silence of mind.

Do you know anything about Speed-Reading ? Let me liken Awareness IN the Moment to Speed-Reading, in that with both situations there is NO-thoughts. Normal reading is looking at a word, word by word, perhaps mentally saying the word, establishing a meaning in the mind before going on to the next word and on and on until you read whatever is to be read -- forming an idea or meaning in the mind as you read. Speed-Reading is the act of using the eye-balls as cameras and scanning what is to be read without determining a meaning of a given word or even saying it in the mind. We Understand what we *see* because EVERYTHING is registered in the subconscious (where memory resides). When we look at a tree, we do not have to call it a tree in order to recognize that it is a tree. We do not have to say the word sword to be able to recognize this as a <::::::::::::::::::::]===0 Experiment with just looking at something and before you have a change to vocalize in your mind what you look at look at something else. The idea is to get used to Understanding through Seeing rather than thinking. Understanding and Awareness IN the Moment is Recognizing and Acting by Seeing and not by thinking.

Zazen, Mindfulness meditation is a good practice or technique -- but not the easiest for the beginner to start with. Usually, other techniques are used to establish the Presence of No-Thought and then Mindfulness or Zazen is mastered afterward. Two routes you can take: start with a simple technique to establish the Silence of mind and once that is done go back to Zazen. OR continue in Zazen, applying the Speed-Reading exercises to the practice, and establish the Silence. But Silence can not be *forced*. That is to say that arising thoughts can not be *pushed* away. The harder you push, the stronger and more plentiful they arise. Thoughts will arise, simply *watch* them come and go -- DO NOT THINK ABOUT THEM. Keep the Focus ON/IN the Silence or Void. Actually IN Awareness IN the Moment, interacting with everyday situations and people and whatever, IS Mindfulness or Zazen or Meditation -- no thoughts, just Actions.

As to negative experiences of the "hellish sensation" while meditating: yes, the surface level conditioned mind not being able to *break* you from continuing your endeavor to Dwell IN the Silence called upon it's deeper entrenched toxicity. You were about to Clearly and Openly and Honestly Look into the Mirror of Truth about yourself -- and this is the most painful thing that a human being will ever know. To reach down into the fathomless pit of your Self and extricate the toxic waist there will wrench the whole BEing in agony unknown before. As Siddhartha Gautama found, so painful that people will put up with their Suffering so they will not have to endure the pain of getting rid of the Causes of that Suffering.

Well............ if you crack mirrors when you look into them perhaps you should try polished metal or a calm body of water {8-> And peer deeply into those eyes that seem to be looking back at you. Get lost IN those eyes, the Widows Within -- there are many wondrous mansions in there. And only WithIN and Amongst those Inner Mansions can we BE Lamps unto ourselves. For the Key that Opens those Mansion Doors is Pure unconditioned Awakening. It is in the Silent probing Within that we catch a glimmer of the Light from that Lamp, and as we Awaken the Light Blazes and we stand in awe at the Wondrous Mansions we Realize we are IN. Seeing this, we Observe both ourselves and the manifested world at large as like many parts of One machine operating in unison for it's single-pointed progression of Awakening. It is neither this nor that, it simply IS, without us having to project any of our conditionings into/onto it. It is amazing how this One Reality operates quite nicely without our influences or projections, since the Grand Trickster preaches that our projected conditionings are needed in order for our Observations to be Real. Yet even the cracks in your mirror will be Seen as part of the Oneness of which I speak -- a detachment and a connectedness of What-IS this very Moment, Moment to Moment.

To "Know thyself" and to "Know thy Self" will Unfold all in due time, according to your own Inner Involution. I suggest that you simply let it Unfold naturally -- for what you chase after will always elude you. You will Find by not Looking. Just let it happen and enjoy the Ride.

The Key here is the Observation of these robots (preconceived notions, toxic conditioned thoughts). By observing them and Seeing how they keep you from Awakening will allow you the impetus to put them in their place -- the trash-bin. This is you Looking into the Mirror of Truth about yourself. The next step is letting those robots go their merry way out of the way of your Awakening. You do not have to *push* them, just let them know that you are wise to their Tricks and you are no longer going to buy into them -- that your Awakening has it's own agenda.

We must crawl before we can walk, and walk before we can run.

We are "prisoners" ONLY when we are controlled and manipulated by our preconceived (toxically conditioned) thinking and behavior. When we gain Freedom, what we gain is Freedom from them. I often speak of *no choices*, and what I mean is that our course or route or direction of Action becomes obvious to us the further we Awaken. As long as we have *choices* we are attributing some importance to whatever we are *choosing* between, making it a *judgement call*. As we Awaken we Realize that the most important thing is to continue to Awaken, so there is really no judgement as to what Action we should take. We Realize that if we are to continue our Awakening, it is the only Action that we can take.

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck and looks like a duck, it most likely is a duck. That is to say, if it has all of the ear-marks (the look and feel) of the toxic conditioned thinking and behavior of 99% of the population of the planet Earth then it is most likely toxic conditioned robots. A que is if the robot arises BEFORE Awakening IN the Moment calls for it -- if it AUTOMATICALLY arises the instant a situation is present, then it is a robot. If, on the other hand, only Silence is present IN the Moment you are present IN, the Trickster is kept at bey. It is True that people *think* that they are Awakening or Awakened, when it is actually their preconceived notions ABOUT Awakening that has them programmed to *think* that they are so. But this is recognizable because they still *walk like a duck and quack like a duck* (so to speak). Looks are deceiving (because they may not look like a duck). H.P. Blavatsky gave some good advice when she said to study a little then meditate a lot on what was studied and then apply what was not shown faulty in meditation to see if it works -- the test to see if something is *ducky* or not.

A thought is a thought, by any other name is still a thought. And whether the thought stampedes our BEing with the rush of a storm or whether it subtly encroached upon our Awakening, it is still a thought. And the brain and the mind are simply BEing the brain and the mind, doing what they Naturally do. This is simply What-IS. However, the difference is whether the thought arises automatically due to our conditionings so as to establish a reaction to the experience of the Moment or whether we, IN our Awakening, draw forth this thought to aid us in responding to the experience of the Moment. A thought is a thought, neither good nor bad. The Key is who guides it's use, us or the Grand Trickster. So thoughts do not arise automatically IN Awakening, for automatically arising thoughts establishes the base for our reactions whereas thoughts brought forth establishes the base so that we may respond.

We could not get rid of all of our training, and would not want to. Did I not say 'habitual *TOXIC* stuff' ? Have I not also said that not all habit or programming or conditioning is *toxic* ? Are we not to strive for the *Ideal* ? Are we not to give up the Causes of our Suffering ? Are we not to perfect ourselves "as the father in heaven is perfect" ? Is not Awakening the dropping of reactions ? Is not Awakening Acting or DOing rather than *reacting* ?

We can not SAY we are GOING TO Wake-Up. We must simply just DO it. We Wake-Up to the fact that our preconceived ideas and images are of no use IN Unfolding our Inner Divine Potential of Awareness, of Self-Realization, of Self-Actualization. We Wake-Up to the fact that our programmed habitual thinking and behavior is preventing us from Awakening. We Wake-Up to the fact that our toxic conditioned thinking IS the Causes of our Suffering. This we DO and not SAY.

I recalled a parable where a young disciple asked Siddhartha: "Tell me the true path", to which Siddhartha replied: "Do what is good and not what is evil." The disciple said, "But any child of five knows that." And Siddhartha replied, "Yes, but few men of eighty can practice it." It is IN the DOing and not in the saying -- as it is IN the Awakening and not in the Sleeping.
