Identity And Authority

Is not our whole life personal experience ? Some helpful and some not so helpful, some useful and some not so useful, but all are our personal experiences. One writing their own biography would require dwelling in the past, and fooling oneself that the past is somehow as much a Reality as this very present instant Moment. Mentally constructing the past which is not Real, convincing oneself that it is Real, *believing* that such a construct is not an illusion of the conditioned mind, would, it would seem, be quite cumbersome. May I offer that the simple IS or IS-NOT is taxing enough. The past is but real only in our minds, so IN the Moment there is no past as there is no future, there is only the Moment from Moment to Moment. What has been Unfolding in the past has indeed established the Reality of this Moment, but there is but One Reality and that Reality IS right NOW. So it is only NOW that we can relate Realizations and Recognitions, and we can only relate the Realizations and Recognitions that we Directly Experience NOW. All else is but an Illusion of the Grand Trickster the conditioned mind.

The Wise Awakening Sage would identify with nothing -- not Source, not God, not ground of Being, not personal experiences or research, not anything, save the Reality of What-IS IN the Moment, Moment to Moment. That is, the Wise Awakening Sage would simply BE, projecting nothing into/onto the Direct Experience IN the Moment. There is no security to this, but rather that it simply IS, as they simply ARE

The foundation of Passion is not nuclear (physical). The foundation of Passion is a State of BEing or even a State of Mind. It is our Drive to Embrace What-IS, our Will to Embrace What-IS, Embrace Truth, Embrace Reality, Embrace our Awakening, Embrace Life, and to Embrace ourselves. THAT is Passion. We seem to direct it toward some physical realm object or idea or image or meaning, but we lose the Inner Acceleration or True Passion. We lose the Passion that Jesus spoke of. Sleeping people speak of passion in terms of lust, and this is why they do not understand Inner Passion to Embrace our Divine Nature of Awakening. Once this Inner Passion is Embraced it spills over into every aspect of our lives, in everything we do or say. And leads to much confusion for the Sleeping. They do not understand this, so it is up to us to understand that they can not understand this and simply BE ourselves and *show* them rather than concentrate on *telling* them what we mean. A picture is worth a million words. Family member or not, friend or not, loved one or not, if they refuse to fathom True Passion we must simply let them BE as we want them to let us BE. Perhaps one day they will Wake-Up. It is not our responsibility to Wake them Up for they themselves must Walk the Way, we can only be Pointers to the Path.

The dualistic approach will always keep you at arm's length from that which you seek an answer to. Seek not for answers, Dwell IN the Direct Experience of that which you question. For in our question, the answer eludes us. In our conclusion, Truth and Reality of What-IS eludes us. It is when we Realize that All IS what it IS, and we stand in awe IN it, that we Recognize What-IS, and can Dwell in the perfection of each and every Moment, Moment to Moment. All else is a figment of our conditioned imagination. Indeed, Truth can not be found in words yet nor can be found without words -- for Truth can not be found. Truth can only be Realized. No one Saves us but ourselves, no one can and no one may, others and their words can Point to The Path, but we ourselves must Walk The Way.

There is but One Path, it IS the Path of Awakening. All else is but individual Routes to that Path or Illusions of our own conditioned thinking. There can be similar Routes, but either we are ON The Path or we are not. Likewise, if there is but One Path there can be only One Action and One Perception. Is it not the *different truths* and *different paths* and *different actions* and *different perceptions* that is at the root of our Suffering and wars and conflict ? For it is in this *ownership* of OUR Truth and OUR Action and OUR Perception and OUR Path that we lose Sight of The Truth and The Action and The Perception and The Path. When humanity Truly Understands THIS, he may start Awakening. Light IS, and has very little to do with the conceptual conditioned mind.

The Key is to continue that Moment, Moment to Moment, why limit ourselves to "a moment" ? For only IN the Moment is there Truth, for only IN the Moment is there Reality, for only IN the Moment is there True Action, for only IN the Moment is there Awakening, for only IN the Moment is there The Path.

"Light Work" is a catch-phrase out of Star Wars. Those who profess to be *Light Workers* are so fast aSleep with eyes Closed that they Understand not Light. For we must BE Light and IN Light and OF Light to Truly Realize the Direct Experience of Light. The Light they see at the end of the tunnel is a Train. There is no dualistic notion of Light/Dark. There is Light and there is the absence of Light -- there is no other condition. IN Light, we Serve humanity. IN the absence of Light, IN our conditioned modus operandi, we serve our own Illusions. *Dark* is only a term to describe a particular school of thought, a particular practice, and has little to do with Light or the absence of Light. Such dualistic thinking is at the root of conditioned notions that so abound in humanity, and therefore one of it's greatest ills. And keeps him separate from himself.

And also Realize that Sleeping humanity must Understand such as well, for they must start Awakening. Armageddon is not around the corner or even near, but humanity has put off Waking-Up for to long and he does not have *forever*. There is but One Focus Dear, and it is not in space/time but rather it is IN the Direct Experiencing IN the Moment, Moment to Moment, and thereby Awakening. Is there a communication here ? These offerings are not to challenge, but rather to Help and to Serve.

Since there is but One True Action, there can only BE Service. Each of us are Helped by others Giving, by others Serving, and so we in turn must Help and Give and Serve. It IS Awakening. Matter, physical manifestation, is already Awake naturally, it is conditioned humanity who is Sleeping and who must Wake-UP from the Slumber that the Grand Trickster the conditioned mind keeps him Dreaming that he is other than he IS.

It can not be *found*, it can only be Realized. Such Realization results from us Truly Openly and Honestly Observing ourselves, our actions and reactions, our habitual thinking and behavior, our conditioned notions and how they control and manipulate us, the rise and fall of our emotions, and much more. THIS is when you are Looking into the Mirror of Truth. A hideous sight and painful experience, and thus most turn away and grip tighter to the chains that bind them. And become more emersed in the false security of their conditionings.

It is not only feasible, but ultimately necessary for humanity to start Awakening. Otherwise they will Sleep through the best part of the Show. Though it is really quite a simple matter, which involves letting go of the *traditional way* of thinking and behavior, it is the most difficult and arduous and painful take humanity has ever and will ever undertake for they have become quite comfortable in their Sleep and DreamLand. Most all will give up most anything for some cause whether it be noble or foolish, but will refuse to give up even a minor insignificant Cause of their Suffering. "For they know not what they do". They trust the Grand Trickster the conditioned mind rather than Trust their own Divine Nature. They are programmed as such.

It is not what they "lack", that keeps them Sleeping, but rather the conditioned notions that they *do not lack*. Our conditioned ideas and images and meaning are all *added* by family and peers and social settings, and such *programming* is rationalized as *learning*. Francis of Assisi said, "give me your child for a year, and he will be mine for the rest of his life". He Understood the treachery and deceit in conditioning, and the awesome control and manipulative powers one has over another when one is conditioned or programmed. Sages of yore spoke in their particular language, and if their particular style happens to "put many off" then that many will not Understand. So it is up to each one of us to go through whatever we must do to Understand them, for it is we who must start our Awakening. WE are the ones who have to Save ourselves with their Pointers. If that is to arduous a task, we are to fast aSleep to be able to Understand it anyway. It is not up to them to speak to us, but rather for us to Understand them. They can knock at the Door, but we must Open it.

It is not a matter of "readily adjust their beliefs" but rather to let go of the beliefs all together. We can not Walk the Path holding on to some belief system. And whether the atheist and agnostic admits it, they to are bound by a *belief system*, a belief in this or that or a belief that there is no this or that. A belief is a belief, by any other name is still a belief. WHEN you look around and see people, people of no particular creed or religion or school of thought, just people Working on themselves to get Free from creeds and religions and schools of thought, THEN you will see Awakening.

This is the way of *beliefs*, they can be seen as correct to each one of us in our conditioned thinking. One can not force Truth upon another, though both beliefs and opinions have established many wars and conflicts to force such beliefs and opinions on others -- causing much pain and Suffering. All one can do is *expose* another to Truth, for Truth can be quite infectious to those susceptible to Truth. The Sleeping, on the other hand, are usually unscathed by such exposure.

Awakening, the viewer or Observer and the view or Observed ARE one in the same. This is the underlying Unity in All diversity. Sleeping, they are separate -- hence Duality. Likewise, the doer and the deed done are one in the same for without a doer there could not be a deed done. It is in the Flow of this physical manifestation that deeds are done, as physical manifestation IS the Flow. And in order that this Flow is Smooth and Easy, each Element in this manifestation must do as the Flow does. "Go with the Flow", as it were, of this physical manifestation and not our particular conditioned notions. To do so, we must BE the Flow as we must BE the Observed as we must BE the deed done.

For indeed, though discarding our conditioned thinking and behavior is a most painstaking and painful undertaking, as Arjuna and Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita points out, it starts with the simple matter of "Just Do It !" Sleeping, we tend to over complicate ourselves with complexities that only serve as a web that holds us fast to Sleep. Awakening, we Realize that the infrastructure of our conditioned notions are but glitter that distract and dissuade us from the simple matter of Opening our Eyes. But even as an Observer, is not Observing 'doing' ?

That which we are conditioned to *think* is Truth, but may even be a seeming fact, is still an Illusion of our conditioned thinking. We are conditioned to *believe* it, yet our *believing* it does not make it so. Truth is a *stand alone* Realization that does not depend on our particular notions of it. Truth simply IS, and if we are to deluded by our own contrived Illusions then we will not Recognize nor Realize Truth. For in order to Understand or Realize or Recognize Truth, one must BE Truth. And in order to BE Truth, one must NOT be their conditioned notions. "As a man thinketh, so IS he".

Truth can not be owned, so we can not call it *our own*. If indeed it is *our truth*, then it is not Truth at all but rather a conditioned opinion -- a false perception, an Illusion that controls and manipulates our thinking and behavior. Everyone having their own truth and conditioned to *think* that it is THE truth, is at the very root of our wars and conflict and Suffering. Opinions are arguable, though fruitless. Truth simply IS. And it IS simply IN the very present instant Moment. So if our perception is other than IN the Moment, Truth will be a stranger to us. Truth is not of the past and not of the future and not of you or of me or the next person. Truth IS Realized IN the Moment Directly Experienced AS it IS and not as our conditioned projections distort it to be.

Surely that something which may be called God or Truth or Reality, must be totally new, unrecognizable, and a mind that approaches it through knowledge, through experience, through ideas and accumulated virtues is trying to capture the known, which is an impossibility. To be Free of the known is to be completely Free from all the impressions of the past, from the whole weight of tradition. The mind itself is the product of the known, it is put together by time as the 'me' and the 'not-me' which is the conflict of duality. If the known totally ceases, consciously as well as unconsciously (not theoretically that there is a possibility of it's ceasing) then you will never ask if there is a God, because such a mind is immeasurable in itself. Like Awakening, it is it's own Eternity.

The words *fact* and *Truth* are very often used synonymously this is not necessarily True. If indeed a *fact* IS *Truth*, then indeed fact is Truth. If a fact is but a projection of our conditioned thinking then this fact is far afield of Truth. For you see, seeming facts change with further Understanding whereas Truth IS Eternal and Constant from Moment to Moment. The Moment is anew and changes each Moment, but Truth Observed IN each Moment will be the very same from Moment to Moment. If that which we call truth changes from Moment to Moment, then it was not Truth in the first place but rather our projected notion of what we *think* Truth is. Truth also is anew IN each new Moment, but only the Moment changes for Truth simply IS Truth. And will remain Truth regardless of the conditioned projected ideas and images and meanings onto/into any given Moment.

A while ago I heard a story about a fellow who died, and so he walked down the streets of gold and awed at all the fine mansions. Alas he come upon the finest of mansions with his name on the front door. So naturally he went in and found everything he had every wanted. Servants everywhere to wait on him hand and foot. He lived in this lap of luxury for a few centuries but finally grew weary of this perfect life where every wish came true. To the point that it became quite maddening. He called to the caretaker saying, "Hey, this has been real nice, and I am glad that I made it here. But I can not take this any longer, send me to Hell and I will try that for a while". The caretaker looked at the fellow with blank look and simply asked, "Where do you think you are ?"

If anyone *believes* that taking another's life for no other reason than one's conditioned *belief system*, I would say that there would be nothing to "scrutinize". Nothing to even give consideration to. Sleeping, we consider another's life less important than our own. Awakening, All Life is a Wonder to Directly Experience -- and none any less or more important than the other.

Yes, answers are of little importance for they are but Pointers to that which must be Realized Directly. For in many cases the answers Point to the question and more importantly the questioner. For in order to "Know thyself" we must Observe thyself and Observe why we asked such a question. As most of the time the answer is found in the question.

For there is ego, and then there is ego. Thus far I have only been speaking of ego that is part and parcel to our conditioned thinking and behavior. Yet in the more Buddhist and Occult bents ego is something far different. Ego in this Understanding is the vehicle by which we direct our forces to Action. This is not conditioned but rather our Natural state of BEing. A vehicle of our most Awakened state of BEing. But this vehicle can not be utilized while we harbor our conditioned notions. So while still quite conditioned we must direct our attention to the conditioned ego. So I would offer that you Dwell on this difference of ego and ego and Realize that one IS and one IS-NOT, for it is our task to Understand the difference.

Now, yes, through discarding our conditioned notions we can Dwell IN Nirvikalpa Samadhi or the Direct Experience of Truth/Reality/Eternity/Infinity/Divinity. But it is generally fleeting for we are so easily distracted by our attachments to the physical realm, so can only be sustained for a short time, from time to time, from time to time. Yet, the less defilements of the physical realm that we cling to, the less conditioned notions that we are attached to, the longer that state of Samadhi can be sustained. Which is a paramount task for those Awakening for once we Open that door of Awakening by discarding only a few conditioned notions it can never be closed completely again.

Samadhi is Samadhi, and once you have crossed that line between Sleeping and Awakening it is just a matter of letting go of the remaining conditioned notions. The difference between Nirvikalpa and Sahaja is the remaining defilements (Causes, conditionings) that we must discard so that we can relieve ourselves of our Suffering. Stages or Steps in our Awakening, as it were. Though I must add that in Awakening there are no stages or steps, but rather a continuous Unfolding. Likewise, consciousness can be viewed much the same way. We can say, for the purpose of discussion, that there is an overall consciousness and our individual consciousness is within it -- but why ? If we placed the sun in a box of many holes, the sunlight shining through those holes would give the illusion that there were many suns in the box. So if we Dwell outside the box we would *think* that there are many suns. But alas, if we Dwell Within we Realize that there is but One Sun, but One Light, but One Consciousness. And we Realize that we ARE that Consciousness. We Dwell without, we Seek that which is outside us, we rationalize our physical position in the Cosmos as being of some significance apart from that which IS. But alas, *There Can BE Only One*.

To be ever vigilant and watchful and mindful of our conditioned ideas and images and meanings and notions of all sorts is a major Key in the continued Unfoldment of our Awakening. For such Open and Honest Self-Observations of such defilements is a major Key in letting them go. AND holding such Self-Observations up to the Mirror of Truth to See their actual True Reflection, regardless of the pain of doing such is a True Recognition of who we ARE. So WE and WE alone are responsible for ourselves, as all else is responsible for itself.

Clinging to this concept of trust, as any other *concept*, can not be fashioned into the Moment for there are no concepts IN/AS the Moment of What-IS. The Moment IS What-IS AS it IS without our projecting any preconceived concept into/onto it. The Moment is not for us to fashion but rather BE. That is, we can expect nothing IN/AS the Moment for there is nothing to expect because before we Directly Experience the Moment we do not know what the Moment IS or will BE. That is, we can not even trust the Moment to BE. We can only Directly Experience whatever IS the Moment. You see, there is an expectation that something will BE with this concept of trust therefore can not BE IN/AS the Moment. For IN/AS the Moment, there is only YOU and What-IS.

Silence nor Silent Mind is a "notion", as there is no "theory" of Awakening. IN/AS the Silence we Hear, IN/AS the Void we See, IN/AS Awakening we ARE -- THAT simply IS What-IS, and not a mere "notion". There is no real "theory" of True Meditation either, for regardless of what method one uses to meditate the result should be the same. The result being the Silencing of the chatter of arising thoughts. The mind is the mind, and is actually doing nothing more than doing what the mind does -- generate thoughts. It is the mind being the mind -- a wonderful appendage to the body and a wonderful tool in our Awakening. Problem is that there are times when we would rather that it did not generate thoughts, such as when trying to meditate. Which is not really a problem for the mind because it is just doing what it is supposed to be doing, which is generating thoughts. So the problem is our's and not our mind's. Because you see, when thoughts arise we think. That is, we dwell on or consider or weigh or otherwise give some energy to the thoughts. THAT is the problem. For the seeming *secret* to Silencing the mind of thought chatter (monkey mind, as some call it) is NOT to dwell on or consider or weigh or otherwise contribute any energy to the thoughts as they arise. Which is quite difficult at first because we are conditioned or programmed to *think* every instant of our waking life.

It is not that you are so conditioned that you do not know that you are conditioned, but rather that you are conditioned to *think* that you are not conditioned. Also, the only conditioning that is *toxic* is the conditioning that keeps us from Realizing our True Nature of Awareness IN/AS the Moment.
